Retromobile 2020: historic electric Peugeot

Peugeot presents its electrified program for the Rétromobile 2020 show.

Many manufacturers are getting serious about electric this year and they intend to let people know, even in the events dedicated to old vehicles. Like Porsche , Peugeot will showcase its zero-emission vehicles at the Rétromobile 2020 show .

The lion brand stand will thus welcome the Peugeot VLV (photo) from 1941, as in 2019. In the midst of the World War, it was the rationing of petrol that prompted the manufacturer to develop this small, fully electric City Light Vehicle . Rare and unknown, the VLV was produced in only 377 copies between June 1941 and February 1945. A 106 Electric from 1996 and the EX1 concept car from 2010 will also be exhibited.

Electric but not only

Obviously, the lineage of electric Peugeot leads to the recently marketed e-208 . The electric city car will be visible at Rétromobile and will be accompanied by a 202, a 204 and a 205, its ancestors from the “200” family.

In another genre, Peugeot also announces a highlight of the 404 from the 1960s for the 60th anniversary of the model, as well as the presence of a 309 GTI on its stand.

Rétromobile 2020 will be held from February 5 to 9 in Paris, at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center.
